iQ, 2008 Good Design Award Winner!

Iq Guide on November 19th, 2008

Jury Comment:
The Toyota iQ has a lot of “world’s firsts” in limit design to its credit, but this is not development based on innovative technology, but a high-density design based on existing technology. The Toyota iQ proposes a new possibility to downsizing of cars with its new, ultra-compact, premium 4-seat automobile design transcending the conventional concept of small cars. There is no doubt that its smooth ride and safety features present a whole set of new ideas to the world’s compact cars. It will most likely introduce new concepts to our ideas for handling urban transportation, with its over-abundance of cars.
