Toyota iQ in Japan Gets Smarter?

Iq Guide on September 8th, 2010

The Japanese version of the iQ is sold under the Toyota brand and has been available in Japan and Europe for some time now. With a new version dubbed the 130g to be released soon Toyota is making some changes. The new 130g will be more like the Scion branded iQ we will see in the US. Here are few new photos showing the changes that they have made to the current Toyota model. We are sure to get a more refined vehicle that has a had a few years to work out the kinks. I expect plush interiors to be available and of course an edgier more “Scion” like feel.

  1. If the iQ shown in the slideshow above was available in the UK with a more “upmarket” interior, then I would purchase one this year for sure.
The outside I like, it`s the dash in particular that puts me off.

  2. When IQ car is available in USA (specific, what dealer in austin or dallas, Texas will carry IQ car ?
    What is the basic price?
Can i order it in advance and how?
Does it have the spare tire?

  3. The exterior is much more acceptable from a European standpoint than the one currently available in the UK, if Toyota sorted out the interior and made it a lot more “upmarket” then it would be more successful here. People need to downsize but they still want quality and more options which at present are lacking in the UK specification
